Playdough Recipe
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 Tablespoons alum or cream of tartar
MIX all dry ingredients listed above and set aside.
MIX assoorted/selected food coloring to 2 cups water and set aside.
Add 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil to colored water and mix together with the Dry Ingredient mixture.
Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until it reaches the consistency of stiff mashed potatoes.
Remove from heat, and knead for 2 minutes. Store in air tight container. Have FUN!!
Bubbles, Bubbles and MORE Bubbles
1 cup green dishwashing detergent
1/2 cup glucerine
1/2 cup water
In a metal can or plastic container compine the detergent, glycerine, and water.
Mix commpletely.
Dip wand into the container making sure a film of bubble liquid is stretched across it.
Blow gently fr super long-lasting bubbles.
PUFF PAINTS
1 cup flour
1 cup salt
1 cuup water
1 teaspoon of powder paint or food coloring
Mix all ingredients together. Can be used with paint brushes or it works great if used in glue bottles. The kids make simply neat pictures by sqeezing out the paint onto their paper! The kids will love the depth of these paints! Excellent for tactile activities such as tracing shapes, letters and numbers.
